Vancouver Schools at 125 Yearbook
From September to December 2011 we invite you to celebrate Vancouver’s 125th Anniversary by participating in this project.
The Vancouver Schools at 125 Yearbook project is collecting the answers to these questions (and more) because we want the world to know about the great things that are happening in Vancouver’s public schools. Share your stories about the history and significance of your school.

BCSPE Speaks Up on School Fees
CTV’s investigative reporter Mi-Jung Lee just aired a two-part feature on school and course fees charged to parents. BCSPE director, Helesia Luke, was interviewed for the story. Mi-Jung Lee’s report has triggered a district-wide review that may result in standardizing fees across the Vancouver School District.
We advocate that no fees are charge and the government fund public schools so that all students have equitable access to programs without the humiliation of asking for financial assistance.
